Rock climbing in St. Lucia?
Does anyone know of any outfit or guide for rock climbing in St. Lucia? I see lots of information on climbing the two main peaks there, but as in walking in a trail, not actual rock climbing. |
I've hiked Gros Piton (larger of the 2), didn't see much opportunity for climbing on it. Petite Piton it think there was much more options for climbing. Unfortunately, I don't know of any guide services (they will try to make you hire a guide to hike Gros piton, don't do it). |

Thanks, yeah looks like actual rock climbing is non-existent here. But I tell you this, I've spent the last hour on google earth (and the pics posted by travelers, see the one I attached) and this island looks like it could be a DWS gold mine. Infrastructure and roads to the rural coast line in general look to be, however, rather undeveloped, so accessibility without a boat would be difficult at best. Might be a good exploration trip though. |
