Rochers de Nugues Rock Climbing
Hike back to the car on the summit plateau of Roch...
Rochers de Nugues is a 120m high cliff to the west of the D292. It is the west-most secteur of the Presles escarpment.
This area contains good rock, a number of shorter multi pitch routes, the popular sport crag of Tina Dalle and even an area for practicing artificial (aid) climbing; Ecole dArtif.
Good for an introduction to Presles, some short pitches, or if a shorter day is desired. Also great if the weather is questionable.
From D292, either park at the top (which some websites recommend) or, if coming from the top (plateau), pass through the tunnel and park at the first hairpin turn, right below Tina Dalle. If coming up from the valley below, this will be the last switchback on the D292 road before going through the tunnel.

Stem and climb up chimney and finish on thin holds to the anchor.Superb route with excellant rock. A not-to-be-missed classic....[more] Browse More Classics in International
