Depending on where exactly you park, you might see two tiers of rock in a drainage right under the parking area. The upper level of rock is the Roadside Boulder.

Getting There 

Don't walk directly into this as poison oak grows abundantly on the north side of the boulder. Instead walk the trail down toward the creek, and cut back right to the base of the climbs.
