Richard Wagner Fels Rock Climbing
This crag takes its name from the famous German composer Richard Wagner, famous for his operas and pieces such as Ride of the Valkyries and Wedding March (Bridal Chorus). You can see why when you compare the profiles shown in the pictures.
This crag offers some of the most famous classics and test pieces in the Frankenjura such as Fight Gravity, Magnet and Amadeus Schwarzenegger. Due to the popularity of some of these routes, they've gotten more and more polished over the years and the other routes on this crag have suffered as a result as well, though to a lesser degree.
Head in the direction of Wolfsberg from Obertrubach. After 1.5 km you'll see the parking lot on your right after a restaurant and pension. Park here and walk back in the direction you drove 200m to the crag.
