Description

This is a fun climb that's similar to its neighbor to the right, with some harder sections between the stretches of happy jug hauling. It is still a bit fresh, but worthwhile for sure. This should clean up into a 3 star line.

Location

This is the next route left of Dr Strangelove.

Protection

8 bolts + anchors.

With the new lower first bolt added to this climb, it is now one of my favorite 5.10s in the canyon.

I loved this climb, mostly because I am a solid 5.9 climber that was able to send it. Easy route finding, well-protected, with fun moves.

Be sure to wear a helmet. Lots of small rocks will find their way down.

Felt like a 5.9...tops! Felt very off for Rifle grading, but I'm guessing that this and Middle Ice Caves are supposed to be easier grading. Maybe 10b for a soft Boulder Canyon rating but super straightforward, but who knows...what do I know...great route though!
