Rediscovery Dome, Bowman Lake, CA.
West Facing Slabby Wall. Excellent winter climbing if the road is open. Warm to hot in the summer so start early. Goes into the sun at 10 am
Follow the directions to the bridge as provided in the "getting there" description for Bowman Valley. Continue past the bridge for approximately 1/4 mile (if you get to the 14 mile post sign you have gone about 200' too far) You will come to a road that goes left, park here. (This is a couple hundred yards up the road from b-word/boy scout wall parking. This is the parking area that provides access to the top of B-word). Go up the road 100 -200 feet where you will see a cairn and a trail on the right. This is the approach to Rediscovery Dome Left. To get to Rediscovery Dome Right, go down the road from this junction 100 feet and find a cairn and a trail to the left.
Climbing Season For the Bowman Valley area.
Weather station 0.6 miles from here

Hi guys! I was there last weekend (April 12) and got on the leftmost bolted line on Rediscovery Left #2( to the right of the crack climb) and felt it to be a solid 10a. This was my second time on it, which was last may(2014) just after John and Brad bolted it, and felt the same. My two pence😁👍

There is a busy yellow jacket nest near a tree at the base of Shangri-La. Heads up, they are mean. Didn't bother us up on the ledges for the rightmost routes.
