D getting one sunny day in on her trip to Alaska.

Nice sunny exposure. Mostly 5.10's. Lots of bolts, though a few routes need gear. There is only about 15 - 20 routes there now, though room for more. Similar rock to Weiner and Purinton, though less steep.

Getting There

Located near Purinton and Weiner Lake. This rock wall is impossible to miss, if you take the road to Bonnie Lake, which is a few miles before you get to Weiner Lake.

Climbing Season

For the Anchorage & South Central Alaska area.

Clip a bolt 6 feet above the upper spruce then pull the large roof using an awesome crack with fun jams. The second bolt/Chain is just above the lip. Continue straight up the face and arete trending left under an upper overhang and on to the anchor. This is a 40m route so rap with two ropes....[more]   Browse More Classics in Alaska
