Rattlesnake Mountain Rock Climbing
BETA PHOTO: Parking area on Rt. 6
Rattlesnake Mountain is home to several traprock climbing areas, one of which is Rattlesnake Cliff.
The best approach is to park on Rt. 6 (see map coordinates above) and follow the blue-blazed Metacomet Trail south. You will encounter Porcupine Wall, Green Wall, Will Warren's Den, and then Rattlesnake Cliff.

There are new signs up on the Metacomet Trail here telling hikers to respect private property and stay on the trail. However, people climb here all the time, and I haven't heard of anyone being kicked out for it. Anyone else have any more info?
Edit: This was written in response to an earlier post, and does not apply to Rattlesnake Cliff or to Will Warren's Den.
