Chris Graham passes the crux on Rattle Can

A steep start to a left trending groove/flake which provides a good clipping stance. Move past the first bolt (crux) on thin smears and edges to another reasonable stance. Make some tricky moves past the second bolt and continue on up the slab on increasingly easier terrain past two more bolts to a pine tree at 50'.

Bolts are a dark brown color, don't miss 'em !

This is the first climb you will come to on the Main Cliff. The route begins 8' to the right of Hallie Haley. Rap with one 60m rope from pine tree with slings.

Went out and did this Friday, nice addition to the cliff. Another good 5.7ish climb!

Hey thanks Chinos!!

I think it is a pretty good moderate for beginners and experienced alike. A bit more cleaning next time I am out there, but it climbs clean. 12 hours of scrubbing kidney lichen, moss, foam lichen and dirt...what a chore, but I think it will be a well traveled route once the word gets out that lost is a pretty fun destination with new gear!

Nice climb! Pretty continuous for a 50-60 ft climb! Thanks for the effort required to "bring this to life".

Psyched you like it and are still getting after it so late in the season! I too am not ready to hang up the sticky shoes quite yet. :)
