BETA PHOTO: my friend below the roof

Beautiful corner system. Start at the orange rock on the bottom, to the right of the boulder, and follow arete up through the roof.

5 Bolts. Bring a cordelette for top roping off of 2 anchor bolts.

Just right of CCC up the arete outside of the recess in the wall.

Quick draws and a cordelette.

Be aware that Rachel and Rebecca are very close to each other, and may even share a bolt right before the roof. They are very different routes though: in the start and you pull through the roof in two different places. It is possible to slot a large (2 or 3) camalot under the roof if you want to augment the fixed gear.

I suspect the first semi-blind reach at the crux overhang is way harder for people much less tall than 5ft6inch. And then the third reach is pretty long too.

There are new bolts and chains on top of Rachel & Rebecca as for February 2016

My current understanding is that the steel bolts and hangers on this route are a holdover from before this area was legally opened for climbing. They have not been approved (or disapproved) by the Torne Valley Climbers Coalition, and are not maintained by the TVCC or Harriman Park, so whether or how to use them or not is your own responsibility.

First bolt was spinning with simply a loose nut. Since I always climb with a wrench, tightened it up ;)
