Description

The Wastelands and The Arctic Circle lie scattered across the base of Queen Mountain and although separated by distance and rugged terrain both are easily visited in a day if motivated.

The rock here here varies considerably from light-colored and grainy at the The Arctic Circle to smooth and dark at The Wastelands which gives a taste of what the The Underground is all about.

Notable problems here include the Bounty Hunter Arete (V0+), The Mullet (V1), Intrusion Face (V1), The Reacharound (V1 R), It's Da Oooze (V1+), Survivalist (V2), Tinkerbell's Anus (V2), Particle Accelerator (V3), Moral Wasteland (V3), Whips, Chains and Lox (V3), Side Dish (V4), Poker in the Front (V4), Habanero (V4) and Anti-Matter (V5 R).

SDS at jugs and work out right and then back left onto the smooth brown slab using nice but sharp incut edges and the occasional pocket, the largest being called " Tinkerbell's Anus". Interesting moves on great rock....[more]   Browse More Classics in CA
