Description

The Wastelands and The Arctic Circle lie scattered across the base of Queen Mountain and although separated by distance and rugged terrain both are easily visited in a day if motivated.

The rock here here varies considerably from light-colored and grainy at the The Arctic Circle to smooth and dark at The Wastelands which gives a taste of what the The Underground is all about.

Notable problems here include the Bounty Hunter Arete (V0+), The Mullet (V1), Intrusion Face (V1), The Reacharound (V1 R), It's Da Oooze (V1+), Survivalist (V2), Tinkerbell's Anus (V2), Particle Accelerator (V3), Moral Wasteland (V3), Whips, Chains and Lox (V3), Side Dish (V4), Poker in the Front (V4), Habanero (V4) and Anti-Matter (V5 R).

Finger Food V3 6A  California : Joshua Tree National Park : ... : The Habanero
Starting from the ground climb up and into an undercut thin crack, getting jams where possible, to a committing reach into the final slot where the crack opens up. Easier moves lead from there to the top.The landing zone on this looks fairly bad but with careful padding it's actually pretty safe....[more]   Browse More Classics in California
