  • Description

Qaurtzite Crag represents the continuation of Cartoon Crag and Supremacy Rock but on the North side of the creek. This broken and rarely traveled crag stretches above the creek and up the hill before intersecting the West Ridge around the Inverted Vee area. This crag faces west and as such will see morning shade and afternoon sun.

    Getting There

Approach as for the West Ridge, but instead of heading uphill on the West Ridge climber's trail, continue west along the creek until reaching the crag.

While the majority of this route is easy 5th to 3rd class, several short vertical to overhanging bulges and corners will keep you on your toes....[more]   Browse More Classics in Colorado
