From highway 1, look toward the Old Stone Face, and then look for other formations on the side of the hill closest to you by the power lines. This area has an obvious roof.

Getting There

Probably the hardest approach/retreat in the county. Park at the standard Rock Land/Quarry Trail exit, and start walking up to the Tiki Man. When you are almost there, take a faint trail to the right. Be fit enough to carry a big rack, do some v4 bushwhacking, and make it up and down Cerro Cabrillo twice in the same day. If you spot it out from highway 1 first and bring safety glasses or gloves for the approach, it might only be a v3. You should NOT have to hop over any fences.

Climbing Season

For the Cabrillo Peak area.
