Temporarily Removed ~ Landowner has requested climbers to stop climbing due to liability concerns.

Cliff is on private property. See below comments and contact us if you can help or know the owners, or are the owners. Access Fund has been alerted of the issue.

Hey, thanks for posting up the directions, i'll definitly head up there sometime next week after i get back from rumney and get some pictures and whatever route info i can

I spoke with the land owner today and she indicated that, because of liability, her husband does not want climbers climbing at this crag. She was very nice but told me that they have been asking people to leave.

Perhaps someone who regularly climbs here can approach the landowner and explain that CT has a statute (Recreational Use Act, HB 1551) that exempts landowners from liability from people using their land for recreation.

Thanks guys... I have temporarily removed the directions whilst this plays out. Please contact me (access fund regional coordinator) if you think you can help with this access issue in any way so we can coordinate efforts and ensure all the right information is passed onto the owners. Ideally what brian suggested would be best, I can provide documentation that could be given to the owners for their review as well as open up discussions between the owners and AF offices.
