Description

A 200-meter, next to the road and easy to approach big wall, featuring a variety of sport and multi-pitch routes. Its high-quality rock, a trait that has made it the best sport climbing region center of Iran, near Tehran. In summer, it is better to climb afternoons, since the wall is faced to orient. But in spring and fall, you can enjoy the wall any point during the daytime. Except in the warmest parts of the summers, it's better to have some warm clothes, since the crag is located at 2000-2200m altitude.

Hasan Gerami (together with Hamidreza Shafaghi) has put
together the first and only guidebook dedicated to Pole Khab. The book has been published in 2015 and is in full color. The text is both in Farsi and English, with photo topos, photos of the routes, route description including the grade, FA, number of bolts, anchor info.
You can easily find this book in store in Monirieh (Vali-Asr st).

Getting There

From Tehran, you'd get to Karaj and straight forward to Karaj-Chalous Road. About 50-55 KMs after, you can see Pol-e-Khaab Wall just next to the road.
