Pictured Rocks and Indian Bluffs PDF Guidebooks Iowa

Hi climbing friends,

Heading on a climbing trip next weekend to the wonderful state of Iowa and planning to hit Pictured Rocks, Indian Bluffs, and maybe do some tubing in the river.

Does anyone have a PDF guidebook of either area they could share with me? Also interested in tubbing beta.

Contact Joe Stark at JStark042@gmail.com for a guide book on PDFs. He charges $10 for a downloadable copy he wrote. It is a great overview with most all sport routes and areas.
The float trip is through monticellocanoerental.com. Great family run business. I just took a group of guys down last weekend and did some climbing along the way at windy point rock. This is the beast area for climbing at the park. Just don't tell anyone so they all don't start invading my space. It is a 20 minute hike from the main parking area.
If you are wanting some more adventure, contact the jonescountyiowa.org about getting a caving permit for Indian Bluff Cave at pictured rock. It is a system that will dive you back 632 feet into the depths of the hills and will make you a bit squeamish if you don't like tight places. You do need a permit to enter.
