This shows the whole pitch.

Description

Start under the obvious rectangular flake that juts out of the crack system. Step up and grapple with the block, then straight up the cracks above, passing the bulge with great hand jamming onto the upper slab.

Location

Located on the left side of the Beanstalk Wall, on the buttress separated by a wide basalt dike. Just over the rise, about 40 feet left of the Beanstalk Crack.

Protection

All trad- takes a variety of trad gear. Offsets are helpful but not mandatory. Two bolt ring anchor at the top.

'Interesting' good route. Currently could use a bit more cleaning, but it is a cool line. Tape will make the hand jams through the upper bulge more friendly.(edit - don't let the bit of grunge at the starting pod turn you off. It climbs fine and as soon as you reach the fin you are quickly out of it.)

Thanks for cleaning this up Amy! I tried this a few weeks back and right after the crux bulge nothing but grass in the cracks. Can't wait to get back on it now.
