At the start.

This problem sit starts on a sidepull pinch/sloper jug at the left of the Pharaoh Boulder. I believe that the large crimp sidepull about 6 feet from the ground around the right of the arete, and the large shelf at about 7-8 on the right side of the arete are not to be used to keep it at it's original grade of V5. I am not sure, however, and welcome any input from other members. I will post pictures when I can get some.

Below the Cave Boulder at the far left of the Pharaoh Boulder.

Two pads are probably best. Watch your back and head as you head upward.

Guidebook says the crimp on the right side of the Arete is on and it would be a ridiculous eliminate if the jug weren't on. I think the person who added this page got confused between this problem and the other V5 that starts under the overhang a few feet from this one. In the guidebook it says that these holds are off for that problem (which is called Psych Up, or something). This problem, however, is a cool problem even if it has an awkward start and even though it might be sort of a one move wonder; the one move is pretty rad.
