Hey everyone! I have a pair of older Petzl "Charlet" quark tools... I was wondering if the picks for the current quarks/nomics would fit my tools. And if they don't I'd appreciate some advice on how to get some. Thanks everyone!

I found some on line last season, the old Cascade Pick. I think it was EMS.

Nope--not for the Quasar.

Uh... who's talking about Quasars in this thread?

Maybe start your own thread. Or call Lahout's (old post from them below):

Lahout's Summit Shop on Main St. in Lincoln has plenty of the 4X4 replacement picks for your Quasar.
I will be getting the slightly thinner 3mm Upgrade picks soon. Stocking lots of picks is a no brainer, like new crampon front points, everyone needs them at some point. Folks mention occasionally that they can find stuff at our store they can't get in 'the Valley' sometimes. We're not as hard core as some shops, but I try to stay stocked on the smaller, replacement items. We're at 800-730-1902 or 603-745-2882.

Actually yes...kind of. The bolt pattern is the same but there will be a gap at the bottom inside radius of the head where the new picks are angle cut. The new Ice and Pur will bolt in but require the spacer and will have a gap that will fill with ice and snow in use.

With that said, Petzl still makes Cascade picks for Charlet Quarks. EMS stocks them. ems.com/petzl-charlet-casca…
