Peanut Area Rock Climbing
Danny Mauz sending Fuzzy Tongue, Gloria's
The dense cluster of boulders and caves uphill from the Bill Boulder houses many, many classic problems including The Peanut, Cross-Eyed Nurse, the Murray Arete, and uncountable other lines lurking in the corners and chasms, waiting to be discovered. Sketchy approaches will make you wish you'd picked hiking boots over your flip-flops. Basically every problem in this area requires multiple pads and spotters and a willingness to commit.
Walk left (west) from the Heart Cave to the Bill Boulder and start looking up the hill. Cross-Eyed Nurse is the easiest problem to find, with its well-chalked double arête visible just above the trail. The rest of the problems are scattered about the caves and boulder field above.
