Pat Ament's East coast tour of his new film, "The Disciples of Gill"
Come to the Eastern premiere of Pat Ament's new film, "THE DISCIPLES OF GILL"! |
when the hell is it coming to Chicago area? why skip the Midwest all the time. |
How 'bout Colorado? Ament spent (ahem) quite a bit of time around here, too. |

I think I saw an earlier post for the Colorado tour, already taken place I think. Or a west coast included with Colo. something was up a couple months ago I believe. |

Seems across the country to the East coast, sort of passes Chicago, so why not stop on the way to/from? We just get skipped over all the time for event, as if we have no climbers of worth out here at all. |

Pat did the Colorado shows, which are near his home, on his own initiative. All the other shows happened because someone in the area contacted Pat and put a a lot of work into the arrangements. Things like this don't just "happen." If the Midwest has been skipped (along with, at the moment, the Southeast and the Northwest), it is because no local climber stepped forward to see if it would be possible. |
