Most of the major cliff faces along N. Fork Moormans are along the western facing slope of Pasture Fence Mtn.

This is one of first major cliff bands come across before reach Big Branch Falls and it's respective cliffs.

Lots of bouldering and top roping up to 100 feet (avg height of cliffs around 60 feet or so).

Old bolts are placed....use at your own risk. The quick draws left on look pretty old and rusty.

Getting There

Easiest access from Sugar Hollow and park in designated N. Fork fire road parking lot.

Cross river two times....make sure river is on left before start heading up western slope of Pasture Fence Mtn. Also, make sure to start heading up Pasture Fence before cross the river for 3rd time.

Continue uphill and upstream direction.

(...better directions will be posted shortly).

Climbing Season

For the Shenandoah National Park area.
