Description

This is the central wall in Muzzerone and is easily the most popular. The approach is anywhere from 30 seconds for the short stuff right next to the parking lot to 2 minutes for the big stuff.
The rock is polished limestone, polished from the popularity of this crag. The wall is up to ~32m with several multipitch routes, which you could of course do in a single push provided you use long slings. There are many other shorter single pitch routes here too. Difficulty ranges from 4c (5.7) to 7c+ (5.13a).

Getting There

Follow the road up after three hairpins where there is an obvious parking lot in front of a carved rock with graffiti on it.

This is a multi-pitch route which could easily been done in one pitch if you sling it correctly. The first pitch is 5c while the second pitch is 6a+. Having said that, the first pitch felt a lot more polished than the second, which I thought made the first pitch feel harder.Start right next to the name painted on the rock and head straight up to the first bolt, avoiding the low bolt to the left. Continue relatively straight up and then a little right to get to the first belay stance. From here, t...[more]   Browse More Classics in International
