Papago Park is nothing to get too excited about. The rock is Choss and there are only a few clean routs. However if you live in tempe and looking to go for a quick climb or some rappelling it's worth a shot.

Brand new bolts put up a few months ago at the tippy top...this opens the door for some sweat climbs or close to 150ft-200ft rappels. The rock is very brittle but after some traffic and cleaning could be fun.

Getting There

I don't suggest climbing here at all. This place is a glorified choss pile. Bolts are all old and loose. Lots of rope drag and hold break like crazy. Not safe climbing.
