the arete

start on jugs to the left of a big tree growing into the boulder and traverse over to the arete(left) and top out. From a sitdown it is probably a grade harder.

best way down is the start of this problem on the jugs.

Nice Mobes, good thing your spotters were paying attention!

The sit start is wicked hard only because keeping your leg off the tree is very hard to do. (your body wants to swing into the tree once your butt is ariborn) Would be a really fun climb if the tree was elsewhere/gone. Stupid trees! As one of the few "open" bouldering spots in CT I'll try to get a few pictures up of this place.

The sit start felt more like V1 to me.
