The geometry is mind boggling.

The Paisano Buttress is located to the right of the Visions Wall. Steep, overhanging rock is the dominant feature. The hardest routes at the Aretes are on this wall. Currently there are several 5.13's and 3 5.14a's. Please do not take the fixed draws!

Getting There

Walk left off the road and follow the trail. Take the right fork to the steepest part of the wall.

A few cruxes, with a lot of difficult climbing in-between. The first comes about 1/3 of the way up pulling past a couple of small pockets into a gaston. The second one involves moving left and around a bulge, out of a good pinch into some underclings/gastons. Third crux is a slightly scary mantle to the anchors.
