Description 

The Pachyderm Buttress is a south facing Butress that is right of The Pachyderm Wall AKA Sunshine Wall. It resembles a right side profile of an elephant. This Butress has much potential, but will require significant cleaning to establish any lines worth climbing.

Getting There 

Access The Pachyderm Buttress from the lower access trail off of Hwy 299. Once at the bottom of the Pachyderm Wall, follow the trail east toward the Butress.

For the Burney Limestone (aka The Shredding) area.

This route begins at the base of what resembles an elephants trunk from the buttresses profile. Begin up some well protected initial slabby moves with good holds and plenty of friction and sharp limestone features. The crux is moving up and over a small roof by using a right side pull and and left foot high step and reaching blindly for a large right hand rail.
