Josie starts headwall section on Over and Back

Description

Located immediately left of corner exit. Start with a tricky sequence through a section of flakes and knobs to a good rest. Climb straight up a section of vertical crystals to another rest below a steeper short head wall. Move up the right hand side of the head wall, then hand traverse back left across the top before pulling over the top to the anchors.

Protection

7 bolts

Good climbing from top to bottom. Crux moves are a hoot.

This is one of my favorite 11s on Lemmon so far. Powerful lower section on good hands leads to awesome headwall and a ticking pump clock.

Thanks Greg. I don't know how this happened, but I'll try to get out there and loctite that bolt. I'll post it when it happens.

Joe, it's me who should be thanking you for putting up a bunch of fun climbs in a beautiful spot. THANKS!

The loose nut at bolt #1 has been loctited and tightened with a wrench.

A nice route with fun moves. The vertical flakes and knobs can be avoided by climbing the juggy arete to the right. The steep short headwall can be surmounted at least three ways: low and left, high and left, or using by the ramp out right. I believe high and left was the intended variation.
