April 19, 2017: Weekday access to the Gold Bar boulders has now reopened following a temporary closure to ensure public safety during harvest activities associated with the Dyno timber sale. In partnership with Access Fund and Washington Climbers Coalition, DNR preserved access to much of the road network hikers and climbers use to access the Gold Bar boulders. SDS and hug the face. Great left hand sidepull and terrible right hand sloper. Head straight up to the ledge and then topout. Short but tough.
West Forest on Outkast Boulders. About 60 meters north of Obelisk Boulder and 15 meters to the east of the Aquemini on next huge boulder to the east. Watch out for the wasp nest at the north end of this boulder.
