A great little climb that crosses the hanging slab between Hindleg Crack and Dogleg Crack. Starts up Dogleg Crack. P1) Follow the crack to above the overhang ,then traverse down across the lip of the overhang to a good hold and a low pro piton.Climb to another piton then move down slightly to make some delicate moves to reach a rest just right of the arete. Bold climbing just right of the arete leads to the top. 80' 5.11+ (E3 6a)
Gouther Crag. The cliffs stand on the eastern side of the valley . The crags are not big but may be dry when other central are not. See FRCC guide to Buttermere and the Eastern Crags.
