Fake boulder in the middle of a commercial park. It's not tall at all however there are a couple of traverse lines that can be as hard as you want it to be. Plenty of texture on the rocks. It's short size could be awkward for taller climbers trying to traverse. You do get curious onlookers when you yell and grunt on a perceived kids play thing. Not some place one should go out of their way to try, however it is free and there's no approach.

Getting There

It's just off the 10 on the Martin Way exit in Huntamer Park

Iceman Traverse V1+ 5  Washington : Olympics & Pacific Coast : Olympia
Sit start on the left and follow the middle line of crimpers to finish around the corner. For an easier traverse, use the higher pockets. For a v4+ traverse, use the slopey crimps between the middle line and the higher pockets. It's cramped for short people, forcing some funky leg moves and it's even more awkward for taller folks....[more]   Browse More Classics in Washington
