Access Issue: Road Access and railways
Details
While Ogre Canyon is located on provincial Crown land (Wildland Park), the access road is on private property and continued access to area is based on the goodwill of the landowner. Please leave all gates as you find them (closed if closed, open if open). Additionally, a CN rail line parallels the area and should be avoided.
Description
East facing cliffs that see afternoon and evening shade in Ogre Canyon Wildland Park. This area is popular with caoyoneering and hiking, but has many limestone slab and corner climbs, with a mix of traditionally protected, bolted, and mixed protection routes. Quality varies from chossy and vegetation to solid. You'll probably be the only climbers in here.
