The northwest face of The Fortress sports fewer lines and sees less activity than the southeast face. The wall is shaded until approximately noon.

Getting There 

Approach the The Fortress using the directions up one level. Upon reaching the toe of the formation trend right in search of an extremely faint or non-existant trail. Hug the formation looking for bolt lines and distinguishing features until reaching your desired route.
