Low on the North Ridge while carrying over Whatcom...

Description

The North Ridge follows trails leading south from Whatcom pass until the ridge narrows and steepens. Steep Eldorado-like snow fins with big exposure exist, as well as loose 3rd and possibly 4th class scrambling on generally poor rock in the vicinity of the summit.

Protection

Ice axe, crampons
