BETA PHOTO: NE face of Arid Piles

Go up and left up an easy corner, walk right across a nice ledge to a nice leftfacing layback crack. Up this to some steeper and wider ground, with a couple of tricky bits. Theres a comfortable spot to setup the belay with medium-large gear just below the summit, which you curl around into a ramp that descends to the south.

The NE face was tall and very shady and cast a long shadow when we got there midafternoon. Night Gallery finishes left of Shooting Gallery, these two routes go up the middle of this face.

We used mostly cams, no fixed anchors.
