We've added RSS/XML feeds to Mountain Project. You can build your own feed that has just the content you want, from just the areas you want. You can build several feeds and subscribe to them all if you you want to keep the separate. And you can also get a feed of the forum posts.

Let us know if you have any questions or problems.

Sweet, man. I really like this feature, as I can keep up with new additions to my favorite areas using my email/feed reader Thunderbird. Works nicely. John John Hegyes

The feeds don't seem to work anymore in Firefox for me.

eg.

mountainproject.com/scripts/RS...

reports 'Live bookmark failed to load' in my browser. Any ideas? I think it is an issue with gzip compression being turned on for the RSS feeds. It seems to work ok in Safari as best as I can remember.

While you're at it, escaping the ampresand character in the <title> element would be helpful. I'm trying to create a field for CO Ice & Mixed and the RSS feed doesn't validate.

Actually, it's the same problem. Tahquitz & Suicide Rocks.

Switch out the & for &amp; and it will be ok.

That fixed the problem for me. (Actually, getting rid of 'Tahquitz & Suicide' fixed the problem) Thanks. ttriche

Got it fixed. We were properly escaping every item in the feed, but not the feed title itself... Nick Wilder
