I've been climbing in Mythos for 6 years. I love them and apparently they aren't making them anymore..../ people are telling me that better shoes will make me climb better....

So, what is a good shoe, that I could wear all day on long trad routes, but also sport-climb my face off with??

NOT PAINFUL OR SUPER AGRESSIVE. Just a good next-level shoe.

Thank you!

What's this about not making mythos anymore? I doubt it to be true.

Mythos are (imo) the best comfy shoe on the market. They stretch to fit almost any foot size/shape and perform amazingly. I wear my mythos for climbing everything but the steepest of sport routes that are at my limit.

I think you should just buy another pair of mythos. People who say a better shoe will make you climb better are wrong (placebo is a hell of a drug). Its about the climber, not the shoe.

Yes to Moccs....super comfy glove like fit thanks to unlined leather uppers...slipper design and no laces to get the chop in cracks. Stealth C4 sticky rubber and mid soles for edging. Face, cracks, bouldering, walls, gyms, it's all good. Red feet and all.

I got a new pair of Mythos at REI back in May. If they have been discontinued, then it was very recently. Where did you hear that they were gone?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
