Description
Numerous crags lining the southwest side of Stoddard Ridge (AKA Sawtooth Ridge) make up the New Bob City area. Since the FA's in 2003/4, it appears that someone now owns the land that New Bob City lies in.
Getting There
From NJC:
Take the 247 south and make a right on to Lucerne Valley Road (Cutoff). After 2.3 miles, turn right onto Jayjay Road. After .6 miles veer left onto Meander Rd. Continue north toward the ridge until the road dead ends. Make a left (going right would take you to the pipeline road going over the ridge to New Jack, impassible by vehicle) and continue for .5 mile and make your first right. You will be greeted by a crazy sign and markings that say "private road". New Bob City lies on the ridge at the end of this road.
