Description

Short problems on a newly cleans block behind and right of Zig-Zag, although these problems will never be Rumney classics I suggest doing them because they do provide a good amount of fun. The top outs could be cleaned a little bit better there is still a fair amount of moss on the tops of all these routes.

Getting There

Walk the main path of Black Jack as if you are going to Zig Zag Crack, once there look behind and right of it and you will see a small boulder situated back in the woods a little bit, go and have fun.

Climbing Season

Paleolithic Ways V0 4  New Hampshire : *Rumney : ... : New Age Block
This route is fun consisting of moves linking jugs. Sit Start on the arete with jugs then move straight up to the only non jug on the route. Then break left heading towards and obvious jug then top out. The name refers to the dead tree we removed using a sharp rock and the fact that we had to pry a 200 pound diamond shaped piece of rock off. This was done after two of us had climbed it. We pulled the rock off then I resent it in its current state....[more]   Browse More Classics in New Hampshire
