Will be in the High Country for February and March, based in Boone. Looking for anyone who's amped to get out climbing whenever possible. Let's go plug some gear on some of NC's best, and if the conditions permit, get out on the ICE too. Just back from two months clipping bolts in Spain, excited to get traditional again. Anywhere from Whitesides to Moore's, I've got gear, rope and a vehicle so wherever the opportunity arises, I'm down. I'll lead up into the 10's on gear, follow whatever, would like to do mostly multis, but even harder sport routes and bouldering is fine by me.
Also interested in putting a trip/carpool together up to NH for some new england ice...
Just climbed "Cindarella" SI 4+ on Whitesides and "Bimini Blue" SI 4 on Rabun Mt. in Georgia, a stones throw away from Whitesides! Oh by the way SI stands for southern ice, a little stiffer grade than NEI! So if you like climbing pegged out, crowded ice lines, go to New England. If you can get any beta from the locals you will be lucky!
