Looking for climbing partners in North Carolina. Specifically the Linville Gorge and Rumbling Bald areas. I am up for anything from top roping, to bouldering to multi-pitch.

I have a partner that I met on MP, for Fri. We are also going to RB, will be there 930. I am unsure about the wknd, but know that he is available. I am Tim, with blue Dodge Caravan and NH tags. If we don't see you in the lot, we are headed to cereal wall. Cheers, tk

Great trip k.Sr! Thanks for letting me tag along. Looking for a climbing partner this Wednesday and Thursday, March 19th and 20th. Anybody available?

I am looking to climb this wed or fri. I would be interested in moderate trad routes at the bald, crowder, looking glass or linville gorge, pretty much whatever is dry.

Send me a PM if interested

Anyone have experience at Hanging Rock? I hope to spend some time climbing there soon.

Hanging Rock proper is closed to climbing. You are allowed to climb at Cooks Wall and Moores Wall located inside park boundaries. Both are in MP database. Additionally, excellent bouldering can be found within the park.

When does it open?

do you aid climb? I am looking for a friend in Asheville that aid climbs I'd like to try to free a line that I cannot get up without aid gear. The line would be probably pretty fun for an aid climber I imagine (not really sure what motivates an aid climber tbh tho).

the line is psychedelic delusions of the digital age in LG

is that a different line than Psychedelic Delusions of the Digital Man (Electric Koolaid Acid Test)?

Try to free it without aiding it to the top. It will be more fun. I've managed it up to the second bolt very unclean a few years back. Fun to work on lead and not TR. It's a great aid line too.

no, YOU.

lets just work it together in May again. Its definitely my style. The style I hate the most but sadly am best at.

but how can you look at that line as a climber and not want to climb it :)

The bottom part protects pretty well with nuts and small cams then you get the bolts (which I suppose could be stickclipped past/worked on TR easily)...then I hear its small brass after the bolts. Is that right beta?
