Looking to tap into the deep creative pool here at MP.
I am in the process of starting a micro distillery here in Pagosa and am looking for names for our products. We will be making shine, gin & whiskey. Looking for climbing related and catchy names for the booze.
Have quite a few ideas but would really like some input from a group.

Since we are in CO would like route or cliff references to be from our great state. Open to anything.

If I use your idea there is a free bottle of choice in it. Gotta be 21 to get the goods.
Hit me with your best shot(pun intended).

If you're brewing in Pagosa you definitely need a Wolf Creek Whiskey or something named for the area like Alberta Peak Whiskey. Good luck with your brewing. I always like to try home grown spirits! crankenstein

So many good suggestions. If I could afford it I would send you all a bottle just for the great names. Thankfully this is making my choice even harder.
Michael, I come from a long line of shiners as well. I'll just be the first to do so legally.

So I guess the feds think the public is not educated enough in 2011 to know that whiskey (while important to well being) does not actually have medicinal benefits? Makes me think of the traveling salesmen that was selling a cure-all tonic duping poor souls out of their hard earned coin. How 'bout Sneffels Tonic, or is tonic a problem word too?

You could have Sneffels Tonic Gin. Slogan: So smooth, no tonic needed.

You could do some barrel aged whiskey and call it Elling-wood aged, using the spirit of Colorado hard men.
