Andrea clears the slopers on Fleas.

A fine moderate sport route with some slopers to deal with toward the top. Also known as "The Nine."

Starting at an overhang, pull the roofy opening moves on good holds, then follow a fairly steep but well-featured face to the top.

On the north side of Holiday Block, about 20' left of Mark's Menace.

Five bolts, bolted anchors.

Slopey and Pumpy. Probably a lot easier when it's cooler

Excellent slightly overhanging sloper crux. Great place to watch "5.10" climbers get ego check'd. A must do for first timers @ Sand Rock.

^ What about My Dog has Fleas makes that route 5.9, PG13?? It's at most 5.8. I would put it on par with Kennel Club except that it's more sustained 5.8..

Find the least worst hold through the bulge and go for it...its the best you'll get! great short climb

Mostly climbing on big jugs with a couple of slopers at the bulge/crux. Nothing on here harder than 8+. If the crux was a boulder problem at Horsepens it would be V0--. No 5.9 pg13 here.

Crux goes well with an undercling.

New climbers beware, if you are used to climbing routes like a ladder, this route will serve you a nice juicy slice of humble pie. Awesome movement and never a dull moment on the route!

not bad if you know the sequence - probably a true 8 once you have it. More like a 9 if you muscle it.

8 if you find the under clings. Most climbers transitioning from the gym will be humbled and curse at the 9- rating like I did.
