Buckner Mountain is the highest point of Skagit County. It lies due East of Boston Peak and has a commanding view to the Northwest of Boston Glacier, to the South of Horseshoe Basin, and to the West along Ripsaw Ridge.

Getting There Suggest change

Buckner is approached either from the Southwest via the Sahale Arm or, for the more technical North Face route, is approached via the Boston Glacier, which has a number of approach options.
