This is a Black Mountain classic, one of several problems pictured in John Long's 1980 "Pumping Granite" article.

The crux is right off the ground: sharp crimps to a long dyno. From there, easier but still tricky moves lead to the top.

Nice to see this problem is on here, it's one of my favorites at Black but I hardly ever see chalk on it. I think the ground may have eroded some in the past years im 5'9" and have a hell of a time starting this problem with out a couple stacked pads. props to AJ for the padless ascent this thing is much taller than it looks in the photo.
