Description

In late Autumn, Winter, and early Spring this place is nice and sunny. The rest of the year it stays cool and shaded because of all of the trees. This makes it a good and beloved all year crag. Unfortunately, that also adds to the polish effect. So while this area definitely has lots of fun routes to offer the moderate climber, the somewhat polished rock makes the routes a little more difficult and scary than they used to be.
The climbing here typically follows cracks and features on the rock, rather than pockets. And the route protection can be somewhat mentally demanding, so a set of stoppers is highly recommended.

Getting There

Walk up the left side of the parking lot and to the right for 150 meters uphill to reach the crag. (5 mins)

Climbing Season

This is a great route and well protected, but it's still scary. If you're shorter than 5'6", take a stick clip up for the first bolt because that's the hardest part. After that, just stay on the route and follow the bolts up to the top....[more]   Browse More Classics in International
