Mineral Rock Rock Climbing
BETA PHOTO: View from the Trail Head
A friend said she looked at this band of white rock over 20 years ago. It took over 15 years before she skied up to what could be one of the most unique crags in the Northwest.
The climbing is a mix of pockets, cobbles and huge huceos. This could be some of the softest Sandstone you might ever want to climb on. Routes can overhang 25 ft. some routes may never stop sluffing off sand. Most routes have been developed with the use of wedge anchors and some are starting to pull out because of this very soft type of Sandstone. If a bolt is loose it probably means the bolt has pulled out sum.
Climb these routes at your own risk.
