Only a couple miles away from Yankee Jim campground, this small patch of good quality boulders is easily accessible.
It is possible that these have been climbed in the past, but due to the amount of cleaning put into them, it is unlikely. However, if anyone has any info on previous efforts here, feel free to make note.
Expect good quality rock with a variety of crimps, slopers, and jugs at the top. All problems have sit starts and are between 6ft to 12ft tall with easy downclimbs. They are also all within a one or two minute walk of each other.
Many of the boulders are covered in bright green lichen, and minimal scrubbing has been used to preserve the natural beauty of the rocks.** Some climbs might still be dirty at the top, so feel free to give them some love.**
Mixed sun and shade throughout the day.

Getting There

From Livingston, head south towards Gardiner. Seconds after you exit Yankee Jim Canyon at mile marker 13, you can see the Sweet Lip boulder 50ft from the road on the left. There is a small pullout on the left just before the boulder. If you do not want to park there, there is a fishing access parking lot across on the right and you can simply walk 1 min to the boulders from there. Be sure to slow down coming out of the canyon and use your blinker, as people generally like to fly out of there.

Size Doesn't Matter V2 5+  Montana : Paradise Valley : ... : Foily Boulder
Same start as Foily, but keep traversing all the way to the right. Top out pretty much on Tell Me Where You Want It. While the this rock doesn't look like much at first glance, this problem has 10 or more moves with jugs, slopers, crimps and a top out that makes you glad this isn't a highball....[more]   Browse More Classics in Montana
