Closed- private property MORE INFO >>>

Large dramatic erratic with great rock sitting with it's sisters right next to the driveway of a residence. These were climbed on before the house was built and climbers were aware that the land was private. Please now respect the privacy and private property of the owners and don't climb on them without invitation. Who knows, if climbers maintain a good reputation, the boulders might someday become open.

Getting There

On top of Stubtown rd, across from the old landfill.

This boulder and the smaller surrounding erratics are now posted no trespassing. There is a camper directly behind the boulder that appears to be in regular use.

After keeping an eye on the boulder for the last year+ It seems the owners started to develop the lot behind the boulder and then stopped. I've climbed here lately with no problems but do so on the down low and if you run into any problems post here asap. Hard to say but its also possible the Midden boulder is not on the posted property (like they did by the cluster which is definitely posted beyond the property line.)

A drive way has been layed out to the left of the boulder going back to a newly built house/building. The property is heavily marked with No Trespassing signs. Any further climbing on the Midden boulder should wait until the owners can be persuaded to open bouldering on it which actually might be possible if done with the right amount of suave seeing as how the boulder sits next to the road and doesn't really affect their privacy much. Should discussions fail I think a more in depth look into the property lines will be worth checking on including the cluster back by the pond.
