This area is just off (and sometimes right on) the main trail to get to the Lowers, White Wall, etc. It sees traffic, but mostly from people hiking through.

Getting There

Take the main trail from the parking lot. Continue hiking this trail past the switchback and Switchback Boulders. This is where the Mid-Trail Boulders begin and continue on up to the Lowers. If you reached the helipad, then you have gone too far.

Can you be a bit more specific on what this area is meant to be?

There are boulders on the left immediately before you get to the bridge. There are boulders right on the trail where you can take a shortcut straight up the hill (2nd shortcut), and then there are boulders on the trail right before and after the helipad. Kinda all spread out over a mile or so.

Honestly, I was thinking this encompassed everything from the bridge to the helipad. It's an area that is mentioned in some forums and on videos posted online. Without a true topo for Yonah, I'm not sure what its exact boundaries are. The only bouldering topo I have found covers just the Parking Lot Boulders. I just wanted to add it since there are more than just the Parking Lot Boulders.

This is a starting place for adding the other problems that Mt. Yonah has to offer that some people might not know about. From the videos I've seen that specifically mention Mid-Trail, they seem to include boulders throughout that mile you mentioned.

I'm all for feedback and any additional information that will make this page more helpful.

I'd say they start after the switchback/Switchback Boulders and finish when you can start to see the Lowers and other shorter cliffs before the Lowers. There are some great problems in this area, for sure, but most boulders are on a slope with bad landings, making them less than stellar IMO.
